Gravy

Ok so I was making my favorite beef stew recipe (on here) and at 11 at night realized I didn't have any gravy mix....AHhh didn't want to go to the store to I took advantage of my friend google. I found this recipe and it was actually really good and doesn't have MSG in it like the easy packaged ones do. It was super easy too. So if you need gravy and don't have pan drippings this one is good.

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 quart cold beef broth (as high-quality as possible!)
salt and black pepper to taste

Melt butter...wisk in flour till no lumps then add the rest and let simmer 25 min to thicken. I bet you could use chicken broth just as easy.
