Black bottom cupcakes



I also got this from a western family cream cheese box. I love love love these but unfortunately Austin does not so I do not make them often. Enjoy.

8 oz Cream Cheese
1 egg
1/3 Granulated Sugar
1/8 tsp Salt
6 oz Chocolate Chips
1 pkg Devil's Food Cake Mix

Preheat oven to 350. Combine cream cheese, egg, sugar, and salt. Mix until blended well. Mix in chocolate chips and set aside.
Prepare cake according to package instructions.
Fill paper cupcake liners 1/3 full with cake batter.
Top with heaping tsp of cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with granulated sugar.
Bake for 30-35 mins.
Yeilds 24 cupcake
